Now with Nairaland freebasics, first we could not login and now we cannot see images. This version of Nairaland is just useless...

It's true, but that of the image is ridiculous, the last time I used it, I was wondering why images were not displaying, I didn't know they have decided to take it down too.

But it's not the same for BBC or other supported sites apart from Facebook. It seems they have noticed that a lot of people are using it to gain free access to login and comment on Nairaland, which is bad for their business. Hence they denied login access first.

Now images are no-longer accessible very soon maybe they will remove Nairaland completely but I think they have done their worse and that should reduce routed traffic from freebasics to Nairaland and force people to subscribe for normal data plans to get full access.

@ juicydiceyjoe, There is no need to call their attention to it they are aware of it, and did it intentionally, to force or maybe i should say encourage customers to purchase data, since they have discovered alot of traffic is being routed from freebasics to Nairaland as i have explained earlier.

Blame that on Nairaland et her crew. WikiHow still opens well on freebasics, pictures included.

Really true,I couldn't log in for days,I recently saw a free basics survey of asking me to share my views of freebasics and I said I don't like it that nairaland users can't login,making nairaland useless,how many images are even uploaded to nairaland self

I noticed it too. Its of no use now. You can't even post. You cant log in. You can't view pics.
Airtel - Once they come Up with a good thing. They don't end it well. How will I be using Fb free and don't see pics. What am I gonna like or comment on the pic.

Like seriously ... I was amazed when I opened nl .. It didn't bring up any pictures .. Then I just pushed the blame to nl or Airtel server being bad.. But now I know the reasons
