The fat lady may have sang her last verse in the gubernatorial tussle in Edo between the All Progressive Congress [APC] and the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP]. This is as unconfirmed but highly reliable source indicates that the PDP has scored victories at the 13 local government areas [LGAs] out of the 18 LGAs of the State. Counting of votes is expected to resume by 7am today. The Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] in Edo State had suspended counting of votes last night. Prior to suspending the counting exercise, the INEC officials covered 10 LGAs namely – Orionmwhon, Ovia NE, Uhunwode, Ikpoba-Okha, Esan West, Esan north east, Etsako central, Egor, Etsako west and Oredo.
