So I recently got talking with the head of IT in an agency (name withheld) here in Nigeria towards building a data center. While I believe that power, security and poor internet are issues, I was still given the option of first refusal. I believe we have great minds that can push towards making this project work.
So, I have decided to put this out on nairaland only. Kindly put your contact detail, (email, BBM only). No whatsapp. We will be going for at least 500TB X 10 servers. Kindly also input power (alternate), cooling, demagnetisation, and networking costs into your estimate. The data centre will be implemented as a hybrid cloud and should be able to implement Saas, and Paas services. Many thanks guys.
