So after salaries, you guys still get free food, and anything small thing next we hear is strike, strike. If you don't want the food, go and buy for yourself.

I wonder why you're being so stupid

Free food indeed.
A simple research can always save u a lot of embarrassment on social media.

The food is being paid for.
It is deducted from the salary. Do your research properly.

Secondly, maybe u will understand why doctors need to be fed adequately by the hospital when u have had a personal experience. Maybe it is when you have an emergency and you're rushed to a hospital and you're told that the doctor went to a restaurant outside the hospital to eat or that he is having running stomach consequent upon eating poorly prepared call food and is unable to attend to u "emergently". Maybe that is when u will understand.

U didnt see the decay in that hospital's OR. It is the call food that u can't even give ur dog that u extol and praise.

Honestly, we Nigerians are very sick and we get the kind of leaders that we deserve.

Some stupid comments one reads from you and like minds could make one shoot you on sight! How unreasonable can you get for Pete's sake! Your hero Jonathan raped and killed institutions while his wife stole this country and your future dry and rather than condemn such attrocity, you hail and applaud him. Now that sensible individuals are showing Jonathan's Badluck failures to your face, you tag it on Buhari! You deserve to be cursed!

My brother, it beats me how a typical Nigeria graduate reasons. Imagine the empty brains that pervades Nairaland and by extension, Nigeria. This leaves me to conclude that most so called graduates are only literate (able to read and write) nothing more. No brain, no conscience, no honour.
Such guy as you quoted doesn't deserve your time but, who would teach these fools if we don't?

What do you expect from a country that seeks to offer free health while its citizens procreate like bunnies, depending on only one stream of income and pays little or no tax. What are you complaining about sef. Abeg, shut it jo.

Nigeria has huge infrastructural deficits, only God knows how we can finance them. Our political elites and aristocrats spend upto 3 billion dollars annually on medical tourism in foreign countries. Imagine the revenue lost. Imagine what that sum annually could do for our health sector.

A person is stupid when he decide to attack he personal opinion of another.
That said, the money for the food is NOT taken from amy salary. Fact!
Secondly, what emergencies are you talking about? Do Doctors work 24hrs? There are staff canteens and you there when you are free. Its saddens me that you make such a baseless point.

this is the second time you are advised, do research before spewing garbage here. if you know the meaning of call duty, you wont open that hole of yours to ask if doctors work for 24 hrs... stupid ass!

Same rubbish from a mindless internet fiddler.
You don't know who I am or where I work. I knew you were gonna throw the 'call doctors' dice, but tell me how many doctors are on call in an hospital at any given time? For how many days are they on call. If you can't feed yourself, then quietly eat whatever gabbage is given to you. Nonsence.
If your arguements can only be conveyed with a foul language, I'll take you for who you are - a child- and ignore you.

Dude it doesn't matter where you work. you are obviously not a member of the health team...probably one of those who failed out of med sch and hence envious of doctors. It's also obvious your ignorance is deeply entrenched. Using the term 'call doctors'...and you cant even spell... 'nonsence' is properly spelt as 'nonsense'.
feel so sad for you and those around you. #smhandwalkaway

Still talking silly and yet thinking you're making a point.
Another's personal opinion is not immune to attack if it is a silly and stupid opinion that is based on mere speculation.
The money is not deducted from the salary? For real??
If you want a copy of my payslip, I will make it available to you.

U ask what emergency I'm talking about?
And u ask if doctors work 24 hours?
Obviously, u do not understand the concept of being on call. So I won't waste my time and energy joining issues with u.

Ride high on ur ignorance, bro.

No wonder UBTH doctors are on strike. This is pathetic to say the least.
The management of this tertiary healthcare facility certainly has a case to answer
