He enjoined Abians to embrace it. He maintained that technical education is an enabler that will drive SMEs in Abia, disclosing his administration's plan to build a 250 capacity fully equiped laboratory in each School across the 17 LGA of the State, to encourage skills acquisition among students.

Dr. Ikpeazu, who regreted that Nigeria is still having many challenges even at 56, called for the need to emphasize on moral and civic education in Nigerian schools, saying that it will help to fight criminality in the society.
He expressd joy that ABSU and Abia Poly have consistently maintain a leading position in law school and ICT respectively and congratulated the students, their parents and teachers on their success.

Earlier, the E-librarian, Pearl Nkwachukwu said the vision of the e-library, which is fully equipped with digital learning software with over 35 million e-books covering every field of study, was to provide technology resources for children to learn.

She assured that the centre wil help in driving the Governor's ICT vision and embark on free computer training for all civil servants in the State from January, 2017.
