Pls Nlanders,

I want to know, what are the necessary processes one needs to go thru in order to get a job in Ghana. I have a friend that says his friend has a company there and I could be lucky to get a job there, but i want to know what I will facing in terms of work permit and all that, even accomodation. Can someone throw some light on this matter.

Waiting for your replies. Thanks

@ Andyjoy,

Getting work permit for you is not a big deal, if your employer's business in Ghana is a registered/legitimate one. He is the one that would help you with work permit, so far his company employs you.

Accomodation is a bit fair, though not all that expensive. A 3/4 bedroom building goes for between $300 - $500 per month, depending on the area, but you are assured of maximum comfort in your apartment. They usually ask for a year rent, depending on the years you think you can pay.

That figure is certainly not set in stone and for foreigners without prejudice of location your options won't be that limited. This figure represents about 70% of apartments in well developed and possibly gated communties which am sure you can identify in just about every country subject to your exposure.
