I wished that Traffic warden humiliated him by subjecting him to arrest, then later his boss should apologize that his warden was simply doing his job. That's how they do for us over in their country to. He won't attempt nada.

but cos that's a threat to his job, the warden won't Wana lose his job when his own govt don't have his back in such situo.

There was a day I was driving from oregun link road to opebi in Lagos. On getting to the traffic light, a turkish international school bus beat the traffic light and bashed a Nigerian man's car. Lo and behold, the silly white who was in the bus came down and slapped the naija man. As if that was not enough, the punk told the naija guy that he has the money to turn the case against him. Our leaders have reduced us to zero

Foreign Diplomat Allegedly Said This After Breaking Traffic Rules In Abuja. PICS

A foreigner who reportedly nearly caused an accident after faulting traffic rules at Powerhouse Junction, Asokoro, Abuja, -allegedly showed no remorse even after he was accosted by traffic wardens. Judging from his car's plate number, he might be a diplomat.

Read below what was shared by Emmanuel Ogbeche, few minutes ago.

More like a US diplomat. Maybe he knows Aso Rock well. Wont be surprised the traffic team is removed tomorrow.

Regardless he has no right to disobey traffic rules anywhere in the world.
Welcome to the zoological republic of Nigeria. The white manknows that he is in a zoo where anything goes. No punishment for any crime.

Cos he believes Nigeria have an inefficient law in place... A law that can sentence a #2000 thief to 18yrs in jail and grant a $13b bail of 2mil.

Although the diplomat may have flouted traffic laws, NOTHING will happen to him.

Under international law, he has immunity from arrest and prosecution. But this immunity only applies if the Nigerian government recognizes him as a diplomat to be covered by such immunity. If he is an attaché, Consular general, an ambassador, or an official in the ambassador'a office, immunity covers him.

The only options, the FG has is to expel him from the country; or appeal to his home government to waive his immunity. If the diplomat's immunity is waived, he could be dragged to court for failure of paying the traffic fine.

why blurr his face and the plate number of his vehicle?

I dislike human beings who feel they are above the law and thus untouchable forgetting that there are many ways to kill a rat.

All diplomats in all countries have immunity. The highest you can do is report him to his country or send. Personally I will send goons to treat his fuckup and claim I there was no evidence

No sir. yes he probably has immunity from prosecution in a law court but not immunity from arrest!
He can be arrested and subsequently released to prove a point.

Use your Google
While I agree with everybody's view of immunity for being a diplomat,I want us to realise that his immunity can be waived by his country while Nigeria as a nation can expel him from d country. That’s what Britain did in with Anil Verma — a high ranking Indian diplomat in London who was accused of brutally assaulting his wife on multiple occasions.God bless Nigeria.

Have you guys ever heard of diplomatic immunity? D guy might sound rude but truly the highest that will happen to him is a monetary fine. Even the police can't arrest and prosecute him until dey prove a criminal case against him and then his embassy waive his diplomatic immunity.

No where in the world can any police officer arrest a diplomat or embassy staff of another country irrespective of his offence without his embassy ist waiving his diplomatic immunity.

Presently d Nigerian embassy in d UK owes d UK traffic police d highest amount of fines owed by any country cus u can only fine them but cant arrest them.

This guy just added arrogance to his own immunity by referring to the sitting president and a case can be built against him based on that but till then, nothing really will happen
