The immediate past Minister of Environment, Mrs. Laurentia Laraba Mallam has been reportedly kidnapped along with her 73 year old husband, Mr Pius in Jere, Kagarko local government in Kaduna State. A family source told Leadership said that the duo were kidnapped on Monday night on their way to Kaduna from Abuja. The kidnappers, according to the source are demanding 10 million ransom to release them. The driver of the former minister was also shot on his left hand by the gunmen. Police could not be reach for comment. |
