A woman who entered a poultry farm to steal 1,600 fowls belonging to a pastor has been remanded in prison in Osun State.A 40-year-old woman identified asRegina Philip,has been dragged before a Chief Magistrates' Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State, for allegedly stealing 1,600 fowlsbelonging to a woman of God, Pastor Titilayo Aluko.Punch reports that Philip and seven other accomplices,Yinka Odebiyi, Samson Ayoola, Grace Odeh, Elizabeth Ankira, Cecelia Ochili, Hannah AnkiraandOyelami Tajudeen, had broken into the poultry belonging to the pastor and stole the chickensvalued at N1.5 million.
The police prosecutor handling the case told the court that Philip, Odebiyi, and the other defendants who are now at large, stole the fowls from the farms of Pastor Aluko on July 5 at Erin-Osun, Osogbo.
