anonimi: ABUJA — Legal tussle over the proposed creation of a “Sovereign Wealth Fund” assumed a fresh dimension, yesterday, as Governors of the 36 states of the federation approached the Supreme Court, asking it to abort plans by the Federal Government to withdraw $2 billion from the “Excess Crude Account.” Alleging that the Federal Government has continued to deplete the funds in the “Excess Crude Account” despite the pendency of their legal action, the governors, through their lead counsel, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN, noted that whereas $20 billion was in the account as at 2008 when the case was entered, they maintained that only $3.1 billion is currently remaining in the account. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/05/sovereign-wealth-fund-govs-ask-s-court-to-abort-fgs-plan-to-withdraw-2bn/ |

anonimi: It is easier to save if the leader is saving. Remember, leadership is by example. If GEJ kept on depleting the ECA, how would the FG make the State government save. The money should not have left the ECA. That is why it was not saved. It left the ECA because Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and GEJ dipped their hands into it during a windfall. |
Re: Amaechi: Govs Asked Jonathan To Share Oil Savings Because He Was Mismanaging It by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:17am On Oct 07, 2016 |
Whynotthetruth: Even if we have a supplementary budget, the money will still go through appropriation. In this case, the money was not appropriated. This is not about APC or PDP. It is about how the Federal Government under GEJ and the Supervision of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala made actions that caused us not to save. |

Rotimi Amaechi, you are 100% correct. If you had not shared it then, Buhari's search for missing funds could have been more tedious!

TheGoodJoe: You keep exposing your LIES with additional evidence that you provide. Answer the following questions to reveal to everyone how shallow your above post is: 1) Was Jonathan the president "as at 2008 when the case was entered" in court? 2) Did the Supreme Court stop the withdrawal for subsidy payment as requested by the 36 governors in 2012? If yes, please share the news link. 3) Who established the ECA? Was it not the Ebola Owu lawless dictator You may wish to refer to the excerpt below for insight => It will be recalled that President Obasanjo unilaterally established the ECA in 2004 without consultation with, and approval of, the State Governors and the National Assembly. Since then, there has been a raging controversy between the FG and the 36 SGs over the constitutionality of the ECA . In 2008, the 36 SGs went to court to compel the FG to stop operating the ECA and to transfer the funds in it to the Federation Account (FA) for sharing among the three tiers of government. I have told you already that Amaechi and the other 35 governors wanted subsidy stopped as it was reducing what they were sharing from the ECA. Is that something you cannot understand www.nairaland.com/attachments/2606990_fuelsubsidygovernorssupport2011e_jpeg2d047f51864fc24cb61a9a670137e201 2 Likes |

Tokety7: You still don't get it do you?, majority of those defending Hardluck are beneficiaries of his mismanagement of Nigerian money, by their arguments you shall know them. They are doing their best to mis inform people and make them believe that Buhari out of the wickedness in him decided to introduce hardship into the lives of citizenry. This is being done with the purpose of inciting the populace, especially the ignorant ones to vote against APC come 2019, it is a good idea no doubt provided it works, unfortunately IT WON'T WORK BECAUSE EVERYONE HAVE NOW SEE THAT PDP IS A PARTY OF THIEVES, until proven otherwise. Hoping to capitalize on peoples pain to come back to government WILL NOT WORK ESPECIALLY IN SW, THE PEOPLE HERE ARE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT PDP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CURRENT ECONOMIC STATUS OF THE COUNTRY. PDP may succeed in other gullible place but definitely not here. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Ameachi means who knows tomorrow(uncertainty) this liar is so unrepentant that he won't tell us that he led the agitation for sharing the money because he planned with his culprits to use their own share to sponsor the problem called pmb,if not what did he use his own share to do in Rivers state? he used his own share to buy a ministerial portfolio in this administration. 1 Like |

7lives: Oga, PDP is still inside the Association of ProgreTHIEF Criminals, APC government. Its worstest elements have become redeemed born-to-gain LOOTocrats in the fold of their Chop & Clean mouth comrades. This includes the Ebola Owu who ruled for 8 years out of the 16 years of PDP at the federal level. Or is he not the navigator of APC www.nairaland.com/attachments/3088738_img20151115154440_jpeg8f611b6c9cc8cd0928a56ef1049ea06d www.nairaland.com/attachments/2102459_apcteam_png6dc9407cdcc2b68174c445361fc3e4c9 2 Likes 1 Share |

anonimi: You obviously chose to ignore this in the post. Alleging that the Federal Government has continued to deplete the funds in the “Excess Crude Account” And then chose to ignore the sitting of this case was in 2012 when GEJ was president. |

anonimi: I appreciate your pain bro, but THAT NAME PDP REMAINED CURSED . In a sane country a useless party like that will issue a statement of apology to the citizens instead of all these rubbish they are doing. But this is Africa where 16 is greater than 22 because MONEY IS THE KING, all madness will eventually end in common sense, that whosoever wants to GOVERN MUST DEMONSTRATE HIS OR HER LOVE FOR THE PEOPLE AND MUST BE READY TO SERVE, INSTEAD OF THE PAST AND PRESENT DISPOSITION. 1 Like |

anonimi: Let me make it easy for you, Have you heard of Kennedy Family in America, or of recent the Clinton family?. what ever Tinubu does and get away with in Lagos, its because people allowed him, if the people said no, he won't succeed. BAT is a brand that people wants to buy don't you just get it?. The difference between Bode George and Tinubu is that people are ready to risk their necks for Tinubu, some will equally want to risk their necks for Bode George but how many?. Don't you think people have rights to follow who they like, aja ki i gbagbe olore eko, don't you think Tinubu must have done something that endears him to the people to the extent of allowing him to get away with orishirishi?. 1 Like |

anonimi: Continue drowning yourself in Propaganda. The point is simple. The State governors collected the money because GEJ and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala dipped their hands into the ECA repeatedly. |
