Crude prices plummeted. Government officials stole money and sent it abroad. People with access to interbank rates round tripped and worsened the parallel rate. We prosecuted looters and they sent their men to blow up our pipelines. Now 8% of our GDP is toast and over 90% of our forex is smashed. How could the Naira withstand such trauma? |
