Maybe you have not been following the news. The university is being punished and not just Nigerian students. It's a political issue related to the failed coup in Turkey. The students just happen to be in the wrong university at the wrong time. The turkish govt is trying to frustrate the school so that it's students will go elsewhere.

Contrary to your assertion.

You'require not getting it. The schools that the Turkish government wanted our Government to shut down are owned by organisations like those who own this university. It's a political move that doesn't concern us and so our government refused to be involved in it.

Using a scenario we can easily relate to, let's say PDP sponsored or supported a coup but it didn't hold and APC regained power. The APC government then asks Ghana to close down schools (in Ghana) owned by PDP leaders but the government refuses. The APC govt in Nigerian then arrests all international students in universities owned by PDP leaders saying the school is breeding terrorists and so on. Unfortunately some Ghanaian students were caught in the Web on their way ou the country. That's a simple analogy of the power tussle in Turkey.

Over 90% of turkish territory is in Asia and less than 10% in Europe. Turkey is classified as being in the continent of Eurasia.
