Op said it excludes other allowances which means its more that what he stated.

Some people receive 10k as monthly salary so 70k as starting salary of Private is not bad. Remember its monthly salary and they have free accomodation in baracks plus the prestige and other pecks.

Like if you are drafted to safeguard a high profile person you get paid allowance by that person. You may end up not touching your salary.

If they accompany a trailer from one state to another, they can charge anything close to 20k-50k depending and that is something too.

People that work very hard earn little and meanwhile the lazybones earn huge pay. Pls govt increase the salary structure of our doctors and soldiers.
