plz oo programming gurus in da hauz, am learning python and i am interested in web and mobile apps/games development but am getting discouragements from replies given to other newbies who ask if python can be used for mobile app developments, someone on another thread there said python is out of options for game development so am having a hard time understanding what pygame is used for if python is out of options for game development, also i would like to know what SL4A is used for if python can't develop a mobile app.
thanks as you answer,

you can use kivy framework for mobile development in python.
Blender3d is also pretty cool and scripting is done using python.

Python can definitely be used for apps and games development, aside Kivy framework one can also use pyqt or qt designer to build user interfaces while scripting and database management is controlled by python and SQLite3.
Sqlite3 is built into python...

For game development, a framework called pygame can be used...

use Google to find out more

but what do most people mean by pythons is slow? is that the game or app will be working lazily?
