Her unmeasurable love for children has lead her to a fight against "CEREBRAL PALSY"

Cerebral palsy(commonly called CP) is a disorder caused by an abnormal development or damage to the parts of the brain that controls movement, balance and posture. October 5th is marked world cerebral palsy day. There is no cure for CP,but with little help,this disorder can be managed through physical therapy, medications and supportive treatments. Cerebral palsy is the most common movement disorder in children, it occurs in about 2.1 per 1000 live births. Most of these children with this disorder use wheelchairs,walkers,forearm crutches or walk with a limp. Some speak incoherently,some have speech problems,a few of them can't speak as all. Children with CP have problem with hearing,seeing,eating,and moving. Cerebral palsy affects children with the disorder in different ways. Miss jane believes we can make a difference in the lives of children suffering from cerebral palsy.
