In as much as NYSC is disorganized, they cannot release call up letter without a timetable of activities.

You are right ....I can imagine what stream 2 peeps are going through. You guys should be a little more patient.
I keep refreshing the timetable although am stream 1 bt of course am with you guys.

To all pcms expecting ogun state. You will have a swell time at the sagamu camp. Steady light, no mosquitoes, free wifi, stadium as lecture ground, and lots more. The soldiers were strict for the first week but later got tired. The last week was stress free. But guys your skin must change to black because of sun. The rooms were ok. Mami market was expensive, the least food sold for 300. Photocopies of document and passport, my guys please 5 photocopy is ok and 10 passports is enough. Posting was done fairly. The kitchen only tried when they cooked rice, that was the only time you saw almost all the corpers in the kitchen. The soup was egusi and ogbono nothing to write home about, the beans was 40percent and there was a bully at the kitchen that checkmated guys coming 2 rounds for food, he was nicknamed big brother, the guy stomach na drum. But in all ogun camp try scara. Another thing if your ppa is a private school you will be paid 7k and above with accommodation. For those of you who are coming to ogun, be prepared for a nice time

private school ppas use corpers anyhow, my fellow corpers in private schools are complaining bitterly, also the pay is from 5k and above and not 7k, and the accommodation given is mostly inside the school compound or free classrooms, My best advice is to swiftly work your ppa to a government school or local government area so you'll have adequate time for yourself and you can easily ghost without even bribing anyone cos no one cares if you come to work or you don't, but if you like stress and you want to settle for peanut salary you can accept private school ppa

y u so selfish and self centered....been seeing ur updates and I'm forced to say u r a really selfish dude.Because u r privileged to have fallen in stream one ,u think its ur doing?.those who fell in stream 2 ,aren't they graduates like u or did u finish school years before them?You have no idea how people's time is being wasted cos of this service of a thing or you think its bout the fun and alawee?.Majority of us want to further with our studies and this is one criteria for studying further. I'm not selfish nor self centered... The truth is dat we sre both on dsame page, NYSC was introduced to foster unity, social and economic integration of the different ethnic groups and revamp the country after the wreckage of a three year civil war but it has outlived its usefulness, hence it should be scrapped. There is no point in risking d lives of Nigerian graduates all in d name of serving father land. Research has it dat at least 15 corpers die every year due to accident, insecurity and others, we left camp just 3 weeks ago and 3 corpers hav already died because of accident.

If nysc is scrapped u can further ur education without wasting 1 good year of ur life...

P.S - Nobody cares about d 19,800 allawee cos dat money is just too small.
The only good tin about nysc is dat u get to meet people u wouldn't hav met in ur life but disadvantages outweigh d advantages so it should be scrapped.
