I need help. My laptop has been misbehaving due to corrupt booting files and the letter ''r'' on my keyboard did not function as well when pressed. After a while, the RUN command comes on and the letter ''r'' will just appear in the search box like this:

Even after formatting my laptop, the ''r'' issue has not been solved. Pls HELP!!!!

Are u sure there is no trojan in it? Careful man!

its either you replace the keyboard of the laptop or change the ''r " key on your keyboard

Yeap why not. but, I think you should try using keyboard cleaning spray or compress air to blow off any debirs that might have build up

e.g. nails, small particles and check to make sure nothing is actaully stepping on the keybaord this is base on experience


Remove the stuck keys and see if it works OK when you press the rubber cap instead of key the back space one may have a link under it if it is a wide

one ensure it is fitted correctly. And I take it is just letter R this is happening to. have we try testing in safe mode ? Good luck

1 more thing try moving your 10 fingers across the keboard repeat it 3 time then test. Good luck
