I dont if this thread have been created before but ,i was surfing through the net and i came across the video of a woman praising God in 23 different languages (both local n Foreign) chinese ,hindi,spanish e.t.c .
Some pple were now commenting that she's not speaking in tongues but in foreign languages . This quickly lead me to research the first account of speaking in tongues ever recorded in the bible ACTS 2:1-4 .
By critically examining this account ,there was no need for interpretations because the pple fully understand the languages .
How did we come abt the gibberish our pastor are now churning out as Speaking in Tongues that is totally incomprehensible ?.
All those" rekereke yaya" dey are saying,up and down .

It is simply speaking in another language. The essence really is to praise God and is for self edification.

But nowadays, even if we assemble 100,000 people from different tongues, none would understand what our present day Christians are speaking.

There is confusion everywhere.
