2. INFRASTRUCTURE:

Kano substructural developments and growth is unmatchable and incomparable with any other Nigerian States with the exception of Lagos. These are not mare words of exaggerations but practical structures on ground with amasing accomplishments in the last demi-decade.

Kano a non oil producing state and number six with highest revenue allocation have managed and succeeded in displacing Akwa-Ibom and Rivers State (Oil Producing State With Highest Federal Revenue Allocations) in infrastructural developments. This proves that the enemy of any underdeveloped state is the state governor.

GOOD ROADS:

Kano roads both Federal and state government roads are arguably the best in Nigeria with both flyovers and underpasses. Federal roads are reconstructed by state government in an agreement with FG.

Kano is a peaceful environment with no or less security threats. Perhaps the state is more secured than any southern state. In a noteshell there is no restricted time or area unlike some southern state people are not allowed freedom of movement in certain hours or day due to cultural and spiritual beliefs. No Boko Haram in Kano.

Kano despite being a majority Muslim state, guarantees and promise freedom of non Islamic faith, having more churches than some southern states. Kano people are hospitable as long as you respect and never rubbish their beliefs. Eid and Christmas are celebrated together in absolute peace with one another sharing gifts and foods.

Kano state is a showcase in agriculture self reliance and admirable resource management. The presence of Dams ensures all year round farming (Irrigation). Kano is the most irrigated State in Nigeria with more three million (3,000,000) hectares cultivation land. Despite the present economic hardship, kano is the cheapest state to live in.

On education : Anambra vs Kano
WAEC 2014: Out of 66k Kano students only 18K got 5 credits and above with a pass rate of 27% while Anambra that registered 52k students, 34k got 5 credits and above with a pass rate of 65%. Makes you wonder if Boko Haram is going away soon?
Education budget: Kano 2014=N20.8bn; Anambra=N7.172bn. Explaining the numbers for dunces again! For every N3 Kano spends on education, Anambra , spends N1 : Ratio: 3 to 1.
Percentage of educational outcome: Kano: 27%; Anambra=65%.. It means that Anambra state is 38% more efficient and productive in training younger ones for university education than Kano with 1/3 of Kano's budget.

Hey don't you ever compare kano state with your village again. Development is not all about education{waec/neco/jamb results}, and if it is, then we will say ekiti state is the most developed state in Nigeria. These infrastructures and services below are what matters when people are talking about development;

• Health care centers
• Good intercity roads
• Water
• Security
• Educational institutions
• Social welfare
• Urban farming
• Job opportunities/employment
• Land usage
• Sanitation/waste control
• Transportation

You can't compare kano state with your village if the above mentions will be put into consideration. Kano state is like 5000 miles ahead of your village in every aspect of infrastructural development and services efficiency.

The only state in Nigeria that is slightly ahead of kano state when infrastructural/social development is mentioned should be Lagos state{and this is largely because of all the advantages/opportunities Lagos had}

Please don't insult our sensibility by comparing kano state to your state{village} again. Don't do that.

Highest IMR in the country.

Wrong, Very wrong. Read up the link you posted again, the article actually states otherwise.

EMI Index refers to states with the highest no of exam malpratices [Bayelsa, Sokoto, Ekiti and Imo states]

While EEI refers to states with the least [Yobe, FCT and Bauchi states]

The rankings of geopolitical zones was however based on EEI.And it went thus;

1. NE [Lowest ExamMalpractices]
2. NC
3. SW
4. SE

5. NW
6. SS [Highest Number of ExamMalpractices]

The statement that further confirms the above, is where the NE was called 'the most ethics-friendly zone'.

So somebody is celebrating poverty rate of 73%?
So somebody is blaming illiteracy rate rate of 70% on malpractice?
Does an illiterate get involved in malpractice if she/he can't read nor write?
A state with millions of almajiris and children not enrolled in school should not be taken seriously.
What's more painful is that folks that are supporting this are educated

Percentage of educational outcome: Kano: 27%; Anambra=65%.. It means that Anambra state is 38% more efficient and productive in training younger ones for university education than Kano with 1/3 of Kano's budget.

Your analysis is faulty.
How many people did Kano spend the N20.8bn as compared to the number of people Anambra spent 7.172bn?
Your analysis would have been more acceptable if you had considered the budget per head.
This does not mean Anambra is not ahead of kano in terms of education.

You're really one hell of a funny guy.

Who did this to you? You're too hateful and troublesome. People like you are the cause of man's many problems.

Somebody pointing out obvious facts is tagged a hater! May your kids be like one of those alamajiris or those not enrolled in school.. Say Amen

Show us your analysis. Anambra state with less than 5m registered 52k and Kano with close to 10m registered 66k. May your kids be treated like this Alamajiris and Out of school kids in Kano, say Amen!!

You justified your point by saying "N3 Kano spends on education, Anambra , spends N1 : Ratio: 3 to 1." to which I said it was faulty because you didn't consider the population and all you could do is resort to insults? With your reasoning, If this is the best education you could get then we are in trouble in Nigeria although I doubt it has anything to do with your education but your unwillingness to learn and take correction.
