It's an android device na, of course, it can multitask. But if you mean split screen, nope! you can't split screen. But it beautifully multitasks.

Managing it, I see no reason why no one is complaining about the multitasking issue or is it only my unit??

I am using this device currently though not the LTE variant. I must confess that it delivers if you don't push its capabilities too far. It multitask well and has never hanged, though I don't have much app on it and I don't intend to overload it. It delivers quite well for its price.
