Montaque:

Thank u bro.
DSS has got proof against these judges, but they refuse to yield it for use by the NJC, yet they want the NJC to suspend the judges.
This is wat happens when protocols are flouted, the CJN is the last man standing: NBA has been compromised

“Take the case of a judge who was implicated
in a N500million bribery, the Petition Review
Committee of the NJC cleared him. This is a
judge who admitted on tape to have collected
bribe.
“It took some persistence by a petitioner
before the NJC could accept to sanction the
Chief Judge of Enugu State. He was retired
after about four petitions against him.
“Another judge accused of demanding
N200million was retired by the NJC when the
law is explicit on what should be done. Now is it reasonable for DSS to still hands over their investigations to the same bias NJC ?

The DSS cannot pick functions for the NJC. You call them biased yet you want it to exercise its power of suspension. In what way has the executive tried to strengthen the NJC as an institution? Except to wade into its functions and then dictate for it. This is not the last government we will have in nigeria, so let's build a process that will last

I am imagining, can a corrupt body investigates her corrupt members? Can anything meaningful come out of it? Did they just wake up today and learned that almost all or at least most of them are corrupt? Can soap clean itself? So many questions and these go even for Nigeria itself. Can corrupt people prosecute, convict and imprison or punish the corrupt ones among among them and more so when such criminals are great people among them. That seems to be the normal thing in a corrupt society where there is no justice. But I am still waiting for justice to be done in Nigeria against all criminals including the executive and honorable looters, bribe takers and givers, padders, etc.

Our learned men should do their best to protect the interest of a common man. Where there is conflict people should repose confidence in the them to do justice to their matters. All we want is sanity in the system. Justice shouldn't be a cash & carry matter. They should resolve their differences frankly to regain the confidence of the masses
