Jonathan gave Ojukwu national burial. He awarded the contract for second Niger bridge which Buhari cancelled. He employed Peter Obi as the first ever chairman of Security and Exchange Commission(SEC), but Buhari sacked Obi after only one month. Jonathan bore Ebele Azikiwe in his name, the first Nigerian president to have Igbo names since 1966. Jonathan awarded many contracts to Igbos. Jonathan was the first President since 1960 to name a street in Maitama district of Abuja after Igbo man. 90% of Jonathan's domestic staff were Igbos - cooks, cleaners, drivers etc. Jonathan allowed Igbos unfettered access into Aso Rock, something other Presidents didn't do before. Jonathan is the only President of non-Igbo extraction who spoke Igbo to the people during political rallies in the south east. Please feel free to add yours.
