The human body is an engineering masterpiece! Ever wondered how the respiratory system, digestive sytem, reproductive system, and all 'other systems' fit into this body and it all functions well without collusion- regardless of height or weight? Hold that thought, call your child and entertain yourselves with this awesome facts about your body. When you're both done reading this, you should appreciate your body a little more.

1. If your eye was a digital camera, it would have 576 megapixels. The acclaimed Nokia Lumia 1020 is only 41 megapixels…nature beats artificial.

2. The acid in your stomach is strong enough to dissolve razor blades: Think of how tough the lining of your stomach must be, then! Note: We do not encourage anyone reading this to try swallowing razor blades, and in fact would request that you avoid doing so.

3. Humans are the only mammals that cannot swallow and breathe at the same time: You just tried to do it, didn't you?

4. Humans have approximately 70,000 thoughts each day! Aren’t we thinking too much?

5. It is impossible to hum while your nose is plugged close!

24. Every pound of fat you gain causes your body to make 7 new miles of blood vessels
