The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, said corruption in the oil and gas industry was overblown.
Kachikwu said this in Abuja on Thursday at a news briefing shortly after the launch of the new roadmap tagged “The 7 Big Wins”.
“I think sometimes the corruption indices in Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) are overblown, because sometimes people do not understand the technicalities of what is going on and the short answer is corruption.
“I do agree that there were all kinds of sleaze stories in the past, but if you look at the last one year and in the last 13 months, those have dramatically disappeared.
“The TSA definitely helped, being able to suck in all our funds in one pond, being able to look at long term focus.

Of course, they knew that their administration is incompetent. They can not match up with the last administration.

That was why they were oberblowing everything about the last admin. So that the masses will always think or have it the GEJ's was the most corrupt in naija.

U know that game of using malicious words to pull someone down, someone who is far better than u are.

All those noises about corruption this, corruption that. Nothing has been recovered.

B4 now, it was established that whatever Dokpesi received was done using the due process and so as so many other cases.

They have been shouting diezani did this, she did that, she stole this, she stole that, she has refunded this and that, only for the FG wanting to borrow far less of what they accused diezani of returning.

Why? Just to tarnish their image and make them appear as saints.

But thank God reality is creeping in and everyone is now seeing through their lies and deceits.

NB. I am not saying that the past admin were not corrupt. But in kachikwu's voice, NNPC's corruption matter is being over blown, just like any other case.
The only strong case naija has is that of dasuki( if it is actually strong)
