Fakunle's handling of Jimoh's case, an abuse of judicial process The appeal court sitting today in Abuja has further revealed how the order of court was procured from Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court that mandated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to substitute the name of the controversial businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, for Eyitayo Jegede SAN as the Ondo PDP Candidate for November 26 Governorship election. At a hearing that lasted over 2 hours, Presiding Judge, Jumai Sankey, questioned the lower court procedure that allowed Fakunle to appear as Counsel to Defendant {INEC} and plaintiff {Jimoh} at the same time in the same case which she {Sankey} described as an abuse of judicial process. the court is observing a 30mins recess MODIFIED @ 20:52PM Update: We were at the Court of Appeal today where hearings on the various appeals filed on behalf of PDP and its Candidate- Eyitayo Jegede SAN were heard. The special panel of 3 was constituted to hear and decide with expedition all appeals in respect of Ondo PDP Governorship Candidate bearing in mind the proximal date of the governorship election. Counsel to PDP and Eyitayo Jegede SAN - Dr Dayo Akinlaja( SAN ) who appeared for Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN did technically well in all the presentations. Of significant note, was when he exposed the illegal act of collusion by counsel to Biyi Poroye and 8 others- Mr Goke Fakunle SAN which gave birth to the controversial order of Justice Abang of the FHC Abuja, the fulcrum that anchors INEC decision to substitute Eyitayo's name with that of the controversial businessman- Jimoh ibrahim . While dismantling the said order before the panel, it was established that at the trial court before Justice Abang, Fakunle, Biyi's lawyer appeared on behalf of Biyi and 8 others who are plaintiffs in the suit and somersaulted again in the same suit as Lawyer to the PDP, the Defendants. While Fakunle was being drilled by Akinlaja, it can not be exaggerated to reflect vividly on the drops of sweat on the face of the fraudulent Fakunle in the air conditioned court room. What a pity! Fakunle SAN pleaded profusely with the panel to help protect his integrity and reputation in the light of the naked fraud having to do with his dual appearances. Sittings continue tomorrow Saturday and may end on Tuesday next week. Gentlemen, let's continue in the attitude of prayer. I can see and feel that the good lord is on our side.

Drama at the Court of Appeal Abuja as Bar. Fakunle, lawyer to Jimoh Ibrahim is sweating under air conditioner after Bar. Akinlaja, lawyer to Eyitayo Jegede has established that Fakunle conspired both as plaintiff and the defendant in the Abang cour where Jimoh Ibrahim was announced as the candidate of the PDP. Fakunle pleaded vehemently for his personality to be protected. Case adjourned for 30mins. 1 Like |
