You get sense. Your father dies and leaves you and your siblings great inheritance. The head of your family is already successful. Your other siblings destroys part of the inheritance and steals some of it. You then turn around and say that it is the fault of the family head and you want your siblings to go ahead and steal and destroy more because you don't like the head of the family.

There is no need keeping any stewpid inheritance that you are not benefiting from, but the head of the family is living large with it

.... my point exactly ... but come to think of it, before the emergence of NDA - how has oil exploration/pollution of the environment over the years benefited the ppl of that region?
if u and I had advocated since oil exploration started for govt to look critical at the region- that feeds us, maybe it will neva had come to this

"What if" indeed. When have they ever done so since 1960?
BlurayDesignTec:
nonsense.................. what of if these cash were used to rehabilitate the area and meet the needs and grievances of those residing in the oil affected communities..... Infrastructure, quality of living would have improved and lives saved

Please all those who have not crossed Abuja and Lagos which most southwestern calls home, should endeavour to visit the oil producing areas of the Niger delta to get first hand information on what's happening there and the neglect being done to them by previous government. If not then I "ll tag u guys as the cabal destructing that zone. We Nigerians are very wicked and primitive, as seen in the oppressive attitudes towards the south eastern parts of Nigeria immediately after the war and also the Niger delta zones. Yet majority of us will attend mosques on Fridays and churches on Sunday to praise God when your hearts are as black as the devil's a$$. We will keep moving in circles until issues relating to fairness and social justice are met. Happy weekend all

I hope buhari has come to his senses with the crocodile tears army??..

He thinks by military power he can control the niger delta..the region has gone past threats and even death..negotiation is the key..

With new proven reserves being appraised in the niger delta I hope buhari can see that the niger delta is still willing to feed the country if only he can bring himself down to talk to the people he claims he is leading..
You made a little mistake up there.
The Niger Deltan "Military" owns the Crocodile Tears,
While their Nigerian counterpart has crocodile smile.

i'll give u a better analogy

a couple(mr/mr A) dies leaving behind 10 boys and properties (farmland) behind, brother of mr A inherits the property ( following customary law) the boys go to farm, bring the harvest , brother of mr A sells the harvest, takes the proceed lives large with it - only drops little or no food on the table and even complains that the food is too much for the boys.
1 of the boys gets angry threatens to burn down the farm - their uncle (brother to MR A) corners him to settlement
wat do you think will happen to the remaining 9 boys - simple answer: they'll also threaten for their own settlement
settlements will forever continue until their uncle does the right thing
IT WILL NEVER STOP

couple as =Niger delta (past leaders- fore fathers)
10 boys - youths of the niger delta
uncle - as Nigeria
property as - oil
