Science taught us a lot. It has taught us about the universe and what it consists. It's taught us that the earth that we live on is not flat but actually spherical in shape. It's taught us about our solar system, what it consists of, and how it works,. An Update will follow soon.

Okay first of we know how our solar system looks like. It has nine planets(8 since 2008). We know the sun is at the centre and all the 8 planets circle around the sun. We know how each of all the 8 planets is different from 7 other planets and how each planet looks like and the different charasteristics of each planet, no one planet is the same to any of the 7 other planets. This is how Saturn looks like:

Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and is one of the four gas giants. Saturn is the second largest planet after Jupiter. It nine times the size of earth. If you look at Saturn you will notice it has rings around it. But Saturn is not the only planet with rings around it. All the four gas giants have rings around them, it's just that the other three gas giants rings are less visible and are less beautiful to behold than Saturn rings. The other 3 gas giants are. Jupiter, uranus and neptune.

Okay we've done Saturn and now know it has rings around it and the rings of Saturn are the most visible. Hey but what if our solar system was a little different? What if earth had Satunine rings around it?

What would our skies on earth look like?

[I'm sorry if I bore you guys, this has been done a million times all over the internet]

the rings would likely run along the equator. This is how the sky in Tikal, Guatemala would look like:

Washington DC, USA:

Tropic of Capricon at midnight the earth casts a shadow on the middle of the rings and outer parts remain lit:

Cities that are near the equator like Jakatar, Indonesia will see the ring as a thin line across the sky:

cities that are far from the equator will have an impressive view as you saw with some of the cities above. This is New york City:

New York City at night:
