I have a tecno p9 tablet that was given to me by a colleague before leaving the country for his masters. Everything about the tab is working perfectly fine, but the battery is giving me serious issues, whenever i charge the battery, it charges very slowly like from 1% to 34% takes 4 hours but as soon as it gets to 34% it takes it less than 2 mins to get to 100%. you will just be seeing it counting the percentage right before your very own eyes and in less than 3 minutes it will write charged.

I will then unplug it, and make use of it and while using it, it takes at least 3 hours on heavy usage for the battery to drop from 100-80% but as soon as it gets to 80% it will start to count down as though something is chasing it. whether you use it o or you dont use it the battery will still be dropping percentage till it get to 16% and then suddenly stops the rapid discharge till you get to 11% before it will start again to countdown rapidly in less than 1 minute to 0% then ut shuts down.


I have tried 4 differnet batteries on this tablet as i taught it was the follow come battery but they all ended up having the same charging and discharging problem. Right now i don't know what else to do as i am really really confused.


As any body ever experienced a similar problem before and how did you manage to fix the problem...


please some one should help me out.

Have you tried another charger? If Yes, then change the charging port!

Bro, that's a follow come fault from tecno p9... I have experienced it too... Just get an original power bank to accompany it

And the phone refuses to switch to 3G mode, the H± sign will only appear in 2G/3G mode, but will never appear in 3G mode.

This phone is indeed something else!

Go to a phone plaza. And make sure u buy original black berry charger.

Make sure it's an original folo come charger.

It's like I too had same issue that was the only tin I did

And I have for long forgot it Eva happened.

You just said it yourself... It charges in an awkward manner!

If you've used different chargers and the problem persists, change the charging port!

@ op i use a tecno and a really make use of it that i have to charge the phone almost every six hours... apart from car charger i dont use power bank.. so i opted to buy a second bat3 which dey call follow come.. that was when i began to experience sudden discharge of the bat3 when it gets to like 36%... but on my old bat3 no qualms...
i believe its the bat3.. i advice u visit a tecno shop and buy a brandnew bat3 from them

The tabs don't work well with some chargers. Changed the charger of my droipad and I stopped complaining about these issues. So try changing your charger.

yes that's actually correct, I've tried four different follow come batteries. I was going to go for a new battery at carlcare but I was asked to pay 12900 naira before they'll work on the phone, simply because I told them I've opened the back twice.

So I just took the phone to a reputable phone technician who sold three different follow come batteries and i bought the fourth battery at a different location thinking the man had faulty batteries, but the problem still persists:-(

I have tried 2 different Tecno chargers, I'll try a BB charger on monday. And hopefully change the charging port as stated by Whizpeter before this week runs out, that is if the problem continues.

Pls, I need help with my infinix zero 3. I just got the one with 16gb internal memory. So, I decided not to use an SD card yet. I got to notice that when I'm receiving an app from flash share or when I'm installing an app, a message pops up in the form of "running out of space. Clear some apps". If I click on ok, if takes me to the internal memory. And to my surprise, I will meet 14.65 and above as free memory on the internal memory. On going to install another app, it keeps saying the same thing. It also tells me to delete some emails and messages, whereas, I've got none on the phone. I've done factory reset. Please help me. well 12900.. they are mad...
ask them to sell u the bat3....or look for a tecno accredited dealer and buy ur new bat3 from them
