modular refineries are not bogus projects like the ones we know... how do NA destroy illegal refineries operating in Niger Delta. those are examples of modular refineries. they have minimum capacity unlike the gigantic ones...

so bro. its possible if only the oil importers will not make it unrealistic..
they feed on this forex to defraud the government by so. doing,investors will not want to venture into building a new one..

also the hostilities in Niger Delta is another issue.. militancy and pipeline vandalism may discourage would be investors not to build.. will the refineries get oil to refined after completion?.

what sense did he make?what i read is a man who thinks he is so smart,the reality is when others took to investing in refineries ,he stuck to importation ,now other refineries are almost ready he is looking for how to get a monopoly to give him time to build his while at the same time enjoying government money,i got to give it to him he is a smart guy but there is no need for him to worry the free market would sort out the dollar from 2018 private refineries would come on stream and importers like him would be chased out of the market,my advice to him he better gather his money together and head to the east and build his own refinery that would be feed from crude oil in anambra state,so he can control the eastern market and he should delete the thought from his mind that Government would give him money to build when others built with there own money

Uba is right. What he said is absolutely right. Fix petrol importation, fix rice importation (not by banning but increasing local production), naira will appreciate. This can be done in less than a year.
