Christianity under the Catholic Church was something else until after the new testament. Funny we have embraced modern times, unlike islam that hasn't. I'm not Insulting islam here. But there is something you must know, medieval principles are as outdated as fúck,i doubt you'd see any muslim, a Yoruba Muslim in fact dancing to tunes of pure islam 100%.

The problem is that we are not longer in the 60s when we have regional system of government, what we have now is a loose federal system of government where revenue are shared from the center to all the federating units.

Sharia will not bring about development, on this century stone age ideology will not put food in our table, help us build road, developed more technology etc.
The north have too much confused Arab want to be, who can sacrifice every thing for religion and that is why Nigeria must be restructured into a strong federal system or regional system or better disintegration.

I am secular humanist and believe religion is a big cancer that will never allow sub Saharan to maximize their potential in economic development.

Religion will never allow northern Nigeria to educate her teaming population to get education, access to amenities that will allow them to see the light or information to developed any society.

Your opinion. However, attributing under development to a religious active region, to me is a wrong perception. Most of the arab world countries that practise Islam, which of them is under developed? i think Nigerian attitudes needs better changes irrespective of religion you practise.
