Only one not multiple. Drug adverts are well known for stating "if symptoms persist after three days, please call your doctor.". He was recommended medicine, they worked, now symptoms have come back. It's only common sense for him to go visit the same doctor although I suggest multiple specialist appointments.

The way i see it Mr OP, for the fact that you visited an ophthalmologist that is to say you got first hand professional advice, so its either you didn't use the drug properly or you exposed yourself to the same conditions that caused the eye probably in the first case. Yes the drugs worked according to your testimony the drug worked for a certain period of time, so what happened afterwards? I suggest you re-visit that ophthalmologist for more diagnosis.
