Nice support

aka a visit to assure them that if you don't implicate us in this matter that we all know we did together, we will take care of your families while you are in jail.

APC aren't saints but only in PDP can a convicted felon like Bode, come out of prison (for looting public funds) to an official position in the party that wants to be in control of same public funds.

A delegation of the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Caretaker Committee and other top members of the party led by its Chairman, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, on Wednesday visited some prominent members of the PDP who are in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Members of the delegation included the PDP National Secretary, Senator Ben Obi; the National Publicity Secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, the National Organising Secretary, Senator Abdul Ningi; a former Special Adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Akin Osuntokun; cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Robert Azibaola, Senator Ughesi and Hajiya Binta Kuraye.

They arrived the EFCC at 2.30pm where they met a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode; a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; a former FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed; and a former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Media, Dr. Reuben Abati.

According to inside sources, the delegation encouraged all the suspects that they visited and expressed full solidarity with them.

They further said that they were happy to see that despite their challenges and “unwarranted detention,” they were still strong and in high spirits while urging them to keep the flag flying.

The visitors assured all of them that the PDP family was solidly behind them and urged them to keep their heads held up high and remain strong.

In their response, our sources said the four detainees expressed their gratitude to the delegation for the visit and the leadership they have demonstrated by coming to see them.

Five senators from the PDP and the All Progressives Congress had also on Tuesday visited the EFCC custody to show solidarity for the former ministers who are being quizzed for alleged financial mismanagement while in office.

Im not against EFCC arresting anyone deemed to be corrupt. What Im against is the indefinite detention of people. I dont see any reason why EFCC should hold anyone longer than 48 hours at the end of which they either charge the person to court or release them. This method of arresting people then holding them for months while conducting investigation is horrible.
so if the arrested pple are not cooperating and they should just leave dem and go?? Your brain need re-programming. If a thief steal you laptop and police arrest him and they should let d guy go b4 he return ur lapi abi?? #lack of common sense spoted.

These PDP 'visitors' should all use the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the EFCC environment, because they are all potential IDI AGBON HOUSE inmates.

Thats why Africans are backward. You guys convict a person before the courts pass judgement. The arrested person is entitled not to co-operate. If EFCC has anything on someone, they should charge the person and let justice take its course. It is not for you and I or EFCC to pronounce anyone guilty, only the courts have the authority to do thst. Until then, we are all supposed consider the person innocent. Even if you video taped a person stealing you laptop, that person is still innocent until the courts declare him guilty
