if u even wana talk abt undue advantage, u shld be referring to those who had access to d questions or d sources of d questions b4 d exam. That some candidates got some ideas of d questions isn't their fault, most of d pple complaining are d ones that told them. Besides, i don't think it matters. Many pple that ddnt get any advantage will still score higher than many of those that did. In fact, there will surely be awardees from the 8 am batch who merit it.

If there shld be any complain at all, it should be based on d fact that some pple who don't merit the scholarship actually get sponsored. i'm referring to the other list and the excess that corrupts d merit list.

I don't understand why everyone is saying those that wrote the exam by 11AM has undue advantage. I wrote mine in Lagos JKK Building around 12noon and I didn't see any question. No expo whatsoever... I didnt even go to the exam venue with my phone. I was confused when I read here that all those that wrote 11am have seen the questions. Someone even said they should add extra marks to the 8am batch. We know this is a competition, I did my own underground research and studied past questions.

I have some pertinent questions to ask now that we are not sure what is happening to the list...

1. In my office, if anyone is going on study leave, one must inform the management at least TWO MONTHS before the commencement of your studies. Now that we are resuming in September, I have my CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) already from UCL (University College London) and I just got an email from UCL to proceed on my BRP (Bio-metric Residence Permit). No need for ATAS Certificate for my course. I just pray they release the list as early as possible for us to know the next step.


2. About the payment of Tuition fee, someone told me PTDF will pay during induction, I need an enlightenment on this from past scholars. Is the letter of award enough for the schools to allow us attend lectures?

3. I have a friend who is a Chevening Scholar in UCL, she said accommodation is London is over 800 Pounds. I want to know how we can survive with this stipend since the stipend for London PTDF scholars is 600 Pounds. Please am not sure about these figures. I just need a clear and concise advice.

4. If we are paying for our transport fare from Lagos to Abuja for Induction, will PTDF give us Tfare to back to Lagos?

All I know is that God will crown our efforts...

You are tempted to defer till next semester but you keep hoping that those helming the affairs of PTDF understand what dilemma you are faced with as prospective scholar. It is well.

I wonder why Univ of Michigan didn't give you funding. They used to be generous. Do you have your visa already? Sometimes you get an RA from a professor when you go to school early. Did you contact those in your research interest?
