Some people are incomplete without the words of a seer. They'v made it a part of their daily living to seek for a clue into the future before embarking on a project, travelling, marriage, their children's future, etc.


Is it proper?

Seers are prophets. And where there is no vision, people perish. The Bible has instances of seers or prophets who operated under various kings. So there is nothing wrong if you seek the advice of prophets. But beware, there are lots of false prophets giving themselves up as anointed men of God. Jesus said that on the last days many shall come in His name claiming to be what they are not. But by their fruits you shall know them.

Why do you need to go to a seer? What is that thing you want to know? Are you sure that that seer receives from the LORD? What about the future do you want to know? Whether it will go well with you? Don't you trust GOD? Or don't you believe that as long as you trust and obey GOD, He will sort out your life in the best possible way? Have you ever thought of the fact that the seer might be a charlatan making money off people's credulity?

"And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their GOD? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isa. 8:19-20

People who do that have very little confidence in God.

To see a seer is a good measure of caution. But who is the seer that xtains see? That's the question. A babalawo is a seer, satguru maraji is a seer. And turning seers to mesiahs is making oneself a hotcake for seers to feed on

Some xtains are so dump that what d seers ask them to do is not in line with God's word yet they worship these seers esp white garment prophets who break eggs, coconuts and 7spirit perfume.
