Every other week there's a story on the front page about a certain student of a certain school that managed to get a 4.99 GPA either in an intentional school or a local school.
Every time we celebrate them for their academic achievement then they disappear from the spot light like a poof of smoke.
What happens to them afterwards?
Do they use their so-called intelligence and intellect to advance us as a country?
Why then do we celebrate them?

For instance when Dbanj or Whizkid achieves a fit internationally . I see reason to celebrate with them because they are transcending our countries image by creating something beautiful and sharing it across the world

But these our 4.99 GPA people are not worthy of such in my own opinion because all they did is la-cram la-pour . Nothing that will help our society is done so why should we celebrate them?

But WE celebrated mediocrity in various shades. Well, what's even my point sef!

most of these students practise 'la cram la pour',with the aim of getting high paying jobs upon graduation and this alone is their main focus.smh










but na the high paying job(s) we still dey find.

We have to rethink everything from the bottom up and start to celebrate the students that can boost of patents , creations and solutions to real life problems.

4.99ers seem to disappear in the real world to a corner of an office

We should reconsider the whole lot from the lowest up and begin to have a good time the scholars which could increase of patents , creations and solutions to real life problems.
