*LASU STUDENTS DEFEATS UI, FUTA AND OTHERS AT FUNAAB!* On a day when LASU records a milestone achievement by bringing the distinguished Tony Elumelu to the school, students of the school also went to Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB for an inter-university debate and Public Speaking competition! The competition had 6 Nigerian universities invited but 4 schools were present for the competition which are *The University of Ibadan - UI, Federal University of Technology Akure ; FUTA, host university FUNAAB and the prestigious Lagos State University, LASU!* University of Ibadan came 3rd place, Funaab came 2nd and the prestigious university LASU came 1St defeating all other schools hands down! TEAM LASU was represented by proud lasuites; *_Akinsiwaju Sanya 400L English Education, Tiamiyu Hezekiah 200L Law, Lawal Ademola Ibraheem 300L Marketing, Apatira Simisola 300L English Education, Uzuegbu Faith 300L English Language, Ogunsanya Fuhad 400L Bus. Admin, Ajekigbe Semirah 200L Botany!_* Appreciation goes to the ever-reasonable Students Union President *KAPPO* for his massive support! Also to Atanda Rofiat a.k.a *ICON,* *Ojelabi Olaitan John* 400L Law and *Ojo Timilehin Joshua* 400L Law for the coaching and support!
