He will come with seven horses with trumpets to destroy the whole world.

The name of the first horse and him that sat on it is called DEATH. Horsemen will come to destroy America and Russia which has missiles. Guess what? Those spearmen with horses will defeat America with missiles cheesy grin cheesy

lol... brother.... you are funny.

again... like I've said before.... the book of revelation is highly symbolic.. the fact that you chose to take it literally doesn't make it literal

Who decides what's literal and what's symbolic? And on what basis?

ok... lemme break it down for you..

what is a literal statement? its a statement whose meaning isn't hidden... it is plain

a symbolic statement is one whose meaning is hidden.

if i make the statement “a stitch in time saves 9"... you'd agree that the meaning isn't plain... in fact, if you try to understand it literally, it won't make any sense to you...

ok... so coming to biblical revelations.... all revelations in the bible had their meanings hidden... both the revelation of Daniel and that of John. its more like a dream.. you would agree with me that dreams are symbolic... that's why they need interpretation... looking at the revelations in the bible, you can tell that its symbolic... taking it literally won't make any sense.. also, if you've read reveations you'd have noticed when at times the angel revealing the things to John will interpret some for him.. that's another sign to tell you the book is symbolic.. spiritual things are not literal... and I'm not just talking about bible spiritual or christian spiritual... I'm talking about spiritual in general
Re: There Will Be No Rapture And Jesus Is Not Coming Back! -former Pastor Dr Ray by Nobody: 10:31am On Nov 19, 2016
How about the people that compiled the specific books of the Bible together as one unit? The apostles maybe or the authority handed down. I'm sure they had plausible interpretations for what is literal and symbolic. Revelations is just one of other apocalyptic writings that didn't make the Bible.

Dr Ray Hagins missed it. If you are trying to teach a revelation on any subject, you don't just pick on scriptures that supports your teachings or new found revelations, you have to be able to analyze other scriptues that deals with the same issue. This he has failed to do unless he is telling us that all the Apostles that foretold of the coming of Christ have all been deceived. It also means that the revelations that Jesus gave to John in the Isle of Patmos is all meaningless because they also support the rapture.

Now, if there are statement credited to Jesus affirming he was to come back in the generation he ministered to but never came back literally, then how do we reconcile the whole thing?

Twice Jesus gave prophecies that appears to have failed. They are

Matthew 16-27-28.
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom

Matthew 24:33-34
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Jesus is yet to come with his angels and the glory of the Father. The abomination he talked about in Matthew 24:15 is yet be set up.

The Jews are yet to be thrown into great tribulation like he predicted.

The Jews are yet to be hated by all nations like he mentioned.

Interestingly, that generation has passed away.

If we say that the events are still in the future, then Jesus prophecy failed. But why would the prohecy of Jesus fail? What happened?

We say that Jesus is deity and it is another subject of debate. Yes, he is the Son of God but while on earth, he was fully man. That was why he had to be anointed with the Holy Spirit before he could carry out his ministry.

As a man, he didn't know everything. He even acknowledged it once when he said;

Mark 13:32
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, NEITHER THE SON, but the FATHER.

I will give my understanding on what went wrong. It is up to you to discern the truth.

There was a mystery that God hid from Jesus and the angels. This mystery was later revealed to Paul. It is the Church age - The salvation of the Gentiles. Jesus didn't see the salvation of the Gentiles. The angels didn't understand it either. So, what interrupted Jesus prophecy is the Church age. All the prophecies Jesus spoke about will be fulfilled after God is through with the Church.

God's dealings with the Jews is suspended right now until God is through with us, the Church. Isreal as a nation rejected Christ and that gave us the opportunity for salvation. They are currently blind and the blindness will be removed in the future in the middle of the great tribulation period.

What I am teaching is much more detailed. Be free to ask your question. I will work on a video and send to Dr Ray Hagins so that his spiritual sense will be reset.

Don't let anyone deceive you. Jesus is coming back and the Rapture of the Church is certain. There are even more than one future Rapture.

God bless you all.

@ bold, you even differenciate Jesus from God grin , the point is God hid something from himself ? Is Jesus not God again ? God knows something, yet Jesus didn't know ... Don't you know you just proof Jesus isn't God since God should Know ?

The truth is that the doctrine of trinity has been presented wrongly over the years. So, you are finding it difficult to understand my submission. Jesus is the Son of God. He is not the Father but has the very nature and essence of the Father. He can be referred to as God as he has the very nature and essence of God. Put in another way, he is a God being.

He humbled himself and took up the nature of man just to save us. Like I said before, as a man on earth, he didn't know everything and I proved it to you by the very statement he made when he talked about his coming. So, please tell me where I am wrong.

There are several scriptures that differentiates Jesus from the Father but it does not reduce his status as deity. I will quote a few of them

1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Apostle Paul here talks about God the Father and Jesus, the Lord

Ephesians 4:4-6.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Again, Paul talks about One Lord who is JESUS and One God who is the Father.

1st Corinthians 15:23-28
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

I can go on and on to quote even over a 100 references. Jesus is God but he is not the Father.

The fact that you have a boss you report to in your office doesn't make you less human.

Jesus is subject to the Father doesn't make him inferior in nature or a lesser God.

I hope you got it. If you have any contrary understanding, please give your Scripture references.

Ken4Christ, I am in agreement with your submission on the return of Christ but I do not agree with the "There was a mystery that God hid from Jesus" part. Please carry out a thorough investigation on this statement.

As far as we know, the only thing God has hidden from Jesus is the day of His return to collect His bride.

If you have Scripture verses to prove your statement I am all ears. Learning is a journey without end.
