God! wish I were back to those beautiful years of innocence. I grew up in Lagos but in my neighborhood we never miss the moonlight stories every evening, we all gather and adults take turns to entertain us.

I never joke with my hearts and hints magazines. My big sister buys them in droves so I hide to read them cos I was too young to get caught reading romance. It did help to boost my English though, God bless Kayode Ajala, Toni Kan, Yetunde Oduwole of Bustline, Eno of nine to five and others, I learnt a lot from your articles.

I remember flying our kites around Rowe Park and Casino Cinema and we'll get beaten for going to the express road to play.

Playing the Mario game with my kid brother was fun. He was the better player, still is. Our kids now play a semblance of that game on our phones.

At Xmas, we do "garreta" cover our faces with funny masks, beat drums and dance round the neighborhood and collect money, lotta money, then we share.

So much fun growing up!

Nice one. I miss walk man days o.

Tho I thought it was "face cap"? Correct me if I'm wrong.
You're wrong, it's actually "Fez" not "face."
