For many years the gallant soldiers of the Nigerian army have been involved in a bloody and dangerous war against the deadly Boko Haram sect in the north-east of the country.

The troops confronted a multitude of militants in the northeast, but sometimes the Nigerian military also suffered casualties.

But more often these figures remain mere statistic as many Nigerians do not know their real heroes.

However, everything apparently changed with the death of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abu Ali, who said to be the most gallant commander and efficient fighter in the Nigerian army’s battle to crush the members of the terror group.

The whole nation received this news with the pang of shock, tears, anguish and lamentations.

Since then some Nigerians took to different social media to honour other fallen heroes in this evil war with the hashtag #NigeriansHonourOurHeroes. These brave soldiers paid the supreme price, so we can live our lives in safety and security.



President Muhammadu Buhari is determined to end this war as soon as possible. Let’s pray for our heroes!

Rip soldiers.
I thought one coupiest promised to lead from the front line during his campaign. Why is he still leading from Abuja since he started his show of shame. We have not heard or read that he has bought one bullet for the Army. To make the matter worse, recently he energies Boko Haram terrorist group by paying ransom to them for the release of Chibok girls to score cheap political point on the expense of our gallant soldiers. Since then some of our gallant soldiers has either been declared missing or dead. Another 46 of our gallant soldiers has just been declared missing.
