Few days ago President Buhari Marked one year anniversary of Fight Against Violence on Children held at the Aso Villa, Banquet Hall in the capital city. The high profile event which had dignitaries including Minister of Women Affair was well attended from cross sections of human right organisations, NGOS, Unicef, etc.

In the Nollywood sector, the Actors Guild of Nigeria President Emeka Ike represented the industry well as foreign organisation that campaign against this norms in the society identified with Nollywood for further projections on the movie screens. Also conspicuously present was Queen Nneze Richards and Queen Rita Onyinye Oguebie, Miss Tourism International as some of the guests at the event that also recorded impressive presence of children Children across the FCT.

President Buhari who was represented by the Secretary to The Federal Government Babachir David Lawal said it\'s been a war that victory is certain as the rate of violence has reduced especially within this first year. He applauded the role of the Ministry of Information, National Orientation agency, and other non- profit making organisations that have consistedly campaigned against violence against children. Another laudable presence at the high budget event was Alex Nwankwo, the chief editor of Alexreports.
