Hello NairaLanders, i really need your advice on what business i can start with 500,000 naira.
I really dont want to waste this money, because the rate at which things are going up in the market these days is scary.
I need an alternate source of income in this recession, i would love to start a business, something i can turn around and make good profit.

Please i need sincere and matured comments, also i am not interested in MMM or Sports betting.

That is the best way to choose a business idea. No matter what anyone tells you, if you don't have the inclination towards it, you are always going to struggle. I'll drop 2 links here for you. The first will guide you on how to generate your business ideas yourself and the second will list business ideas in agriculture (agriculture really is the new oil in Nigeria).

Having said that, be careful how you invest. if you cannot handle it right now, put your money in a bank and let it cool down. Please don't do MMM with that money. It's not like it does not pay, it does. But it will make you mentally lazy. Just look at the poster above my and understand...lol

Keep the money in a safe deposit. See if you can grow it to 1m. There are several business you could start with 1m. 500,000 seem very intangible to start up a viable business.


Ps: I'm not demeaning the value of your money. But, the truth is that you cannot start up a cool business and run it successfully and independently with that merger amount.
