The op is saying the truth. That molded thing is nothing but an Idol.
Roman Catholics are still living in bondage.

Op, they have been told this a gazillion times but they will not listen. They will even tell you that the Roman Catholic church is the true church of God because it is the only church God established through the Apostle Peter who was its first Pope. They will tell you that Mary committed no sin while on earth, that Jesus listens to her petitions and grants them as a dutiful son would which is why they go through her to get their requests granted. They will also tell you they are not worshiping Mary but "honouring" or "praying" to her to help them have their prayers answered.

If you have had any discussion with any one of them on this issue you will quickly see how strong the delusion they are under. But for the fact that I know that God does the impossible I would have come to the conclusion that it is extremely hopeless to make them see the error of their ways.

Learn to mind your business. You can't make mockery of Muslim muhamed. So don't ever make mockery of Mary. She is blessed amongst all women.
