It's long overdue. Emefiele, Adeosun and Udo Udoma should be booted out for gross incompetence and poor economic management.

However, to avoid ethnic bigots from coming after PMB, he should look for capable professionals from the same region as those removed who are flooded everywhere both within and without.

These Arewa lawyers are ignorant of the law.

The CBN Act of 2007 explicitly specifies that it's only a 2/3 vote of the Senate that can remove a CBN governor.

Aside from that statutory provision, a president can order the CBN governor to proceed on "administrative leave" only 2 months to the end of the governor's tenure.

It is either the so-called Arewa lawyers are being mischievous or are just plain dumb.

So, they dont know that the only reason Emefiele is still there is because he is doing exactly what Buhari tells him to do?

If he is not, why has Buhari not sacked him or commenced the procedure for removing him?
