Sanusi is lucky for being an emir during the present democratic setting or else he would have found himself in the same shoes like that of late Dasuki the deposed sultan of Sokoto during the military era for corrupt practices.
Sanusi should recollect that the First Bank PLC was almost going into bankruptcy during his era as the M D we share holders were the one feeling the pinch then when billions of Naira loans were declared as bad debts and written off with majority of these bad debtors coming from the Northern part of the country the records are there.
Sanusi should also recollect that there were several calls to remove him having been accused of using the CBN money to favour some particular areas in the north inform of donations to some institutions to the tune of several millions of Naira without a similar response to the southern part of the country.
you should also note of several calls to remove you having been accused of being one of the major sponsors of bokoharam insurgents at their early stage and several other misgivings during your tenure both as First Bank MD and as CBN governor.
But now that we are in the so called Democratic system you now feel that as a traditional ruler you are immune from any form of prosecution and for that you can open your mouth to say anything despite the fact that you a major contributor to the situation the country finds herself today.
