I really don't know the process by which the NPF carries out its investigation but I think what they have here is circumstantial evidence and the fact that the bf ran off, which doesn't mean he strangled her.

Something else could have been the cause of her death and hopefully a "proper investigation" and autopsy should reveal that, if only there is such a thing in the NPF dictionary. We all react differently when angry (More reason we should learn to have self control).

A moment of madness shouldn't cause the guy his entire life if he is indeed telling the truth, especially if she didn't die as a result of any external influence.

Yes Na. He put his hands around her neck to scare her but 'awon aye' helped him so he would scare her to the promised land. Now, he should be also be ready to be scared to death by hanging.
