Will ex- Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, be fourth time fortunate? This is a question that is currently begging for an answer, as the Turakin of Adamawa, launches his 2019 ambition fully force.
For Atiku, who just turned 70 years lately, the battle for 2019 which will be his fourth time, might be the charm to ascend to that enviable position exactly like President Muhammadu Buhari, who contested, and won after the 4th time.

In an explosive post by Atiku’s media office on Wednesday, its Deputy Director, Olusola Sanni, paid glowing tribute to the ex- Vice President, for his enviable attainment in the area of politics, business and also philanthropy.

‘’The former vice president of Nigeria and the Turakin Adamawa, has lived the past seven decades of his life to become a giant in politics, education, business and philanthropy,’’ he said.

Remember, that the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, had tactically endorsed Atiku, while felicitating with the former Vice President, on his 70th birthday.
In a deft move to make Atiku sellable to the public, Olusola composed: ‘’No doubt, the name Atiku means different things to different classes of people. For the hundreds of indigent students who receive scholarship to have world-class education in his private educational institutions, to the thousands of people he provides employment for in his businesses spread all over the country, Atiku is the mercy of God.

‘’In Adamawa State where he hails, Atiku has proven to the world that charity indeed must begin at home. Against the lure of Lagos, Kano or Onitsha, Atiku has a bold signature on the business landscape of Yola, the capital of Adamawa State and his tentacles spread across all the states in the North-East.
‘’For him, the simple explanation to that is that if the people of the North-East are the most backward in terms of human capital development indices, then it is trite logic that business investment in the region is also an investment in the minds and manpower development of the people of the North-East.

Logically I believe Atiku will win because of the situation of the country now which was exactly what gave PMB victory in 2015. Jonathan wasn't performing up to expectations and PMB came into the scenario and capitalized on those GEJ lapses then emerge victorious. I see Atiku winning come 2019 because PMB has failed even more than GEJ and for this reason about 50% or more of people who voted him in 2015 will seek alternative or don't vote at all.
So Atiku coming in to the system will definitely garner more votes in the north which is the strongest hold of PMB, the SW which is one of the most learned region in the country will surely seek alternative to voting PMB. Again SS/SE is no no no for PMB

You don't know who and what he will be up against them. So there is no logic in that.

In my opinion, it's time to try new people. Nothing new is expected from these recycled politicians. In fact, Nigerians need a reason to believe again. New parties, fresh political blood.

This man shall never be the President of Nigeria.
Not just that, he shall never hold political post again.
He will fail no matter what.
If you mean well for this country, and only if you truly do, you will not even talk about this man.

He will do to Nigeria what Babangida did after removing Buhari the first time.

Not that Buhari is doing the best possible thing, and I still wonder why he hasn't sacked that Emefiele man( who has so many terrible ideas/policies,) GEJ put there to punish Nigerians, but most of Buhari's 'plans' are long term. Buhari restricted the borders back then to boost local production, Babangida opened everything. Buhari is restricting the borders again today, Atiku will open everything again. Buhari might not have all the answers but let's see. In 2012 everyone gave GEJ time before finally ousting him in 2015. Now its 2016, let us also be patient till 2019 and see. People were not happy/patient with Buhari during his first coming and were happy when he was ousted, only to see that Babangida and Abacha that came after were worse evils. Don't repeat history.

Atiku will reverse everything and take us back to square one or even worse, just like Babngida did. Remember it was under Babangida that Nigeria became synonymous with 419 and fraud, if history is correct. I'd hate to see what new ugly stereotype will come up if this Atiku man is elected.
