hakeem4: You should concern yourself with being indigene of western region of Nigeria. I bet you do not even know who was Endeley. Why was Lagos island included in the constituency that was represented in western regional house of assembly? Nigerian educational system has gone to the dogs. 1 Like |

Intrepid01: The bolded indicated you have never seen a parade ground in your sorry life. I have known that Nigerians of your parental stock are mostly loudmouthed. They seem to shout in stark ignorance on subjects they know nothing about. When you regurgitated the fallacy that was first planted by western regional government gazette of 1967 on behalf of Lt Col Francis Fajuiyi, I ceased to waste my time on numbskull. First of all, locate a parade ground and then talk about military strategy. Who are the "we" in your idiotic insinuation of Ore debacle? 3 Likes |

DerideGull: Hmmm...I'll applaud the deviation strategy you deployed in conjuring a lame n spineless response. After 3 days, this is what you and your elders could come up with. Well, to say the least I would be lieing if i expected anything different from a dimwit procreated from the unfortunate semen of a low-lifer.... It would be easier to teach a toddler aw to drive than to make a brainless niccombe like you to understand who or what a GALLANT SOLDIER IS.... As for Ore face-off where the sorry asses of your senseless fathers and uncles were whipped due to share stupidity and stubborness mistaken for bravery , I'll be waiting for you to whip up more lies to debunk its true occurrence . Afteral, children of hate are experts in denying the obvious. I wouldn't av reacted to all this tribalistic threads on NL but it it is because of the pervasive nature of sheer ignorance, stubbornness, lies and empty pride that I see in you unfortunate children of the lost tribe of Israel that has moved me to address your lots. These were the same characters that wasted the lives of your fathers and their fathers. Boasting and Chest beating before the war, as if they had been guaranteed victory, until their sorry asses became litters ..... Empty threats, senseless pride and wishful superiority will further plunge your tribe to the bitter road of extinction...you guys are a virus , you should be utterly purged. 7 Likes |

JingoOAU: southern nigeria was partitioned into western and eastern regions in 1946. indigeneous parliaments were constituted for Ibadan and Calabar regional capitals in 1951. Awo a yoruba won in the west and Eyo Ita an efik was elected in the east. british lieutenant-governor dissolved the cabinet in 1954 for Zik an ibo to become premier. there is NO way 2 ibos could have been Chief Ministers, excerpt you mean 2 easterners. |

DerideGull:@Hakeem4, is a liar. He can't be a lagosian and not know history. Lagos history has always been mandatory in the tertiary institution and the likes in Lagos .Azikwe was a minority when NCNC was under the tutelage of the creator, Herbert Macaulay till the time when the old man died. Nnamdi Azikwe wanted to use the machinery of Herbert Macaulay to bulldoze his way to western region then Awolowo and the Yoruba likes pull out against yonmeri and that was how the NCNC party lost out from Yoruba land. Nnamdi Azikwe was learning at the stable of Herbert Macaulay and not a founding members. I thank God that Yoruba didn't allow nnamdi Azikwe ruled that time because, they would have denied socialist tenure of Awolowo that has proved beyond doubt that it was indeed the best government ever heard in the whole Region. Nnamdi Azikikwe was a nomadic man who joined the NCNC party. On the other hand, even at the secondary school, the government and history subjects are still taught. 1 Like |

Olu317: Loudmouthed boisterous clown from the juju-infested enclave of double-faced sorcerers, here is a message from Alhaji Aliyu Gwarzo: "...We also captured Ilorin, killed their local King and installed our Fulani Emir. We took that ancient town away from the barbarian Yoruba and their filthy pagan gods. We liberated all these places and all these people by imposing Islam on them by force. It was either the Koran or the sword, and most of them chose the Koran..." 2 Likes |

0xtr139r:Your Alhaji Gwarzo is a slowpoke while you're his subordinate in the house of namodic family nomenclature. No wonder, you kept bringing down the roof on empty woeful cries. Go and ask at Ilorin if they are really called YORUBA-Fulani or Yoruba? and compare with HAUSA-FULANI? That's is the starting point. As uneducated as you are which make your type a laughing stock with ill woes of lies. Little do you even know the Emir of Ilorin can't claim Fulani because his MATRILINEAL was Yoruba blood. Let me educate you a little, before the defeat of Yoruba jihadists from Ilorin rampage at OSHOGBO IN 1840, and who were cajoled that, they will conquer the Yoruba Race. ALL the WAY to subdue all YORUBA TOWNS TILL THEY get to sea(BETWEEN 1824/1825-1835) BECAUSE, IMMEDIATELY SOLAGBERU REFUSED TO BRING SUPPORT FOR AFONJA WHEN AFONJA NEEDED SOLDIERS TO FIGHT ALONGSIDE him TO DEFEAT THE REBELLIOUS JUMAS. the former didn't come because of the tactics of divide an rule, then AFONJA DIED AS A WARRIOR. MORE IMPORTANTLY, AFONJA WAS NOT A KING but AARE ONA KANKANFO WHO BECAME A REBEL LEADER. IF A FULANI MAN WHO DECIDED TO FEED YOU PEOPLE WITH LIES THEN, IT MEANS YOU AND YOUR friend Gwarzo are not students of history and you that is even a younger generation from the south is sheepish in nature. What a shame! Do you know what happened to Emir Momoh in 1893/1895? before the British wickedly carved ILORIN TO THE NORTH. WHERE IN FULANI-HAUSA history that their WARRIORS BEARING BALOGUN? when the time is right, Nigeria will naturally return ILORIN to where it belongs.GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT AND STOP FOOLING YOURSELF SO THAT THOSE WHO MAY BELIEVE IN YOU WONT LOOSE INTEREST ON YOUR DECAPITATED KNOWLEDGE. . 3 Likes |

DerideGull:.......You need to throw away your knowledge into the lagoon. An illiterate like you who doesn't know the difference between subjugation and freedom by the British and eventual creation of Nigeria, which your grandfathers ,great grandfathers benefited before you got problems with your best Fulani-Hausa friends . Who the hell was Endeley? Endeley ko, Adiye yè ni? bring all the things you have from your south east and come and claim Lagos. A fool with no jurisdiction. It is better you give whom respect is due ,your lack of wisdom will continue to lead into trouble anywhere you find yourself. Why don't you go to the Yorkers and ask the Americans to give their properties out and the right of LESSOR RIGHT to THE Chinese? Simply because Chinese are buying properties in New york. Go and read and better your life instead of this shame you are bringing upon yourself and your people 1 Like |
