Reasons Why President Buhari Should Close Ranks With Asiwaju Before It's Too Lat by sarrki(m): 12:48pm On Dec 12, 2016 |
In the 2015 election, Jonathan was 19, Buhari was 19. Both of them needed 1 to become 20.... Buhari owned the North but Jonathan has little control there. Jonathan owned the SS and SE. Buhari's patronage there is meaningless. Deduct the entire votes Buhari had in those regions and add to Jonathan's, Buhari still won that election. Where is the 1 that both Buhari and Jonathan are looking for?? Southwest......apart from 1999, PDP always won the SW to have smooth ride to Aso Rock. Buhari has never had up to 300k or so in the SW. But this time around, even though, the Pan Yoruba group Afenifere that supported him in 2011 when he chose a popular Yoruba pastor as his deputy, did not support him this time, CPC elements have always supported him without any meaningful votes. A Pan Yoruba Force OPC was against him.....A notable Yoruba king from the source(now late) was against him....so how is he going to get this 1 to make his 19 become 20? To make the matter worse, SW temporarily became the Headquarters of FOREX Department of CBN. Dollars everywhere. Disco parties with Jonathan in attendance everyday. Media war against Tinubu sponsored by Jonathan Campaign Organization aired concurrently by AIT and NTA......Nollywood, CANwood and other woods are all in the SW to snatch that 1. But ACN made the difference. Jagaban's ACN genuinely supported PMB and broke the jinx of meaningless Votes Buhari always got in the Southern Part of Nigeria. Deduct the votes of PMB in Lagos, Oyo, Osun and Ondo...then, add it to Jonathan's votes.... Who won? |

Apc votes in Kano state alone are larger than the whole of SW votes for Apc in 2015 presidential election. So Tinubu is irrelevant. Moreover if the SE decides to take vengeance againt the yaribas they could vote for Buhari against any Tinubu candidate in 2019. Then it'll be Pmb all the way. It's possible. 2 Likes |
