The HTC 10 which was announced April 2016 is HTC's current flagship smartphone. Even though the device did pretty well in terms of sales, it actually fell behind the Samsung galaxy S7 and the Apple iPhone 7 which both dominated the smartphone market this year.

Now, 2016 is almost over and 2017 is around the corner. It's now time to start looking out for what the manufacturers have planned out for 2017. Samsung is rumoured to be working on something new and HTC one the other hand is not taking chances as the upcoming flagship smartphone is expected to feature a fully upgraded specs from the predecessor in terms of display, chipset, RAM, ROM and battery capacity.

According to the tipster from a user at Chinese weibo, the upcoming HTC 11 is going to be powered by the recently launched Qualcomm chipset Snapdragon 835 processor and a more powerful Adreno 540 GPU. It will feature a borderless 5.5-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

Base on the report, the HTC 11 will also come with a massive 8GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of 256GB. It will feature a dual rear camera of 12MP and a front facing camera of 8mp. In terms of battery capacity, It is rumoured to come with a 3700 mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging feature that Qualcomm claims will decrease charging times by 20% compared to the old Quick Charge 3.0.

The device will come with android 7.0 Nougat out of the box along with HTC's Sense 8 UI. Although there is no official date as to when the smartphone will be launched but it's expected to be sometime in 2017 and with a starting price of around $691.

Note that this post is based on the report by a weibo user and it's not the official specs from HTC. Although we believe it's going to be similar to this but their might be some changes, so just be on the lookout as I will keep you guys updated.
