A Federal High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti has ordered Economic and Finance Crime Commission (EFCC) to immediately lift freeze order on Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose’s two accounts.

The court on Tuesday set aside the over five months order of a Federal High Court in Lagos which empowered the anti-graft agency to freeze Fayose’s accounts, saying EFCC did not follow due process.

Justice Taiwo Taiwo, who gave the order in a suit filed by the governor through his counsel, Mike Ozekhome, said the rights of the governor had been infringed upon, considering circumstance of his office.
